on my 68 300 the top frame is over 1/4 inch too high over driverside door/window. how do I fix this?

Just the door window? How about the rear window, is it lined up? You may just need to pull the door panel and adjust the window. Mine was tilted and I just loosened the nuts that hold the window frame to the door and adjusted the window.

it seems to be ok on back window and front window is all the way up at the wing window.

If you remove the door panel you will see nuts that you can loosen to adjust the height of the whole window assembly. Pretty easy to do. Just loosen the nuts and adjust the window until it's the same height as the back window.
