Does a gasket go between the steering wheel and the three bolt column adapter?

That adapter isn't in the 70 B Coronet/Charger FSM as far as I could find. If anyone has an A body FSM I would appreciate knowing if it had a gasket (I don't suspect there is one) and what the torque specs on the three bolts are.

My 73 Charger Rallye has a TUFF wheel from the factory. No gasket.

Definitely no gasket, Lindy.

As for torque specs on the nuts I'd say, snug, but don't go crazy. They're not under any significant force that would cause them to loosen up, though if you're really concerned, then blue Loctite won't hurt.

The nut for the adapter to the steering column is a different matter and any that I've removed have had some evidence of threadlocker on them.

Vlad, I did the German tightening method... Goodentight! I've got the column in and the wheel mounted. Dang it looks great. Thanks for your generosity and help.

Check this out!
