Many thanks to "Challenger1". I follow his advise and had all the undercoating removed from my 65 coronet in just 5 hours. I had a mobil steam cleaning guy come and blast it off. I also sprayed gasoline as need. No scraping, no scratches, very easy. He also steamed cleaned the remaining part of the car. Thanks again to "Challender1".

Yep, a good (HOT) steam cleaner works the best. If you don't own one rent one or hire someone with a "ture" steam cleaner.

So a little gas is all it took to loosen up the stubborn sections?

My question too. I have another card that I would love to get the undercoating off of. Previous owner had it after-market under coated multiple times and it is everywhere. Non-Mopar so I won't say anything more than that...

Yes, the car is on a rotisserie (Auto Twirler pro). As he was spraying one area I would spray gasoline on another area. Used about 2 gallons. Only in a few corners was it necessary to manually break the stuff loose.

Poor man's rotisserie at this link, if your car is stripped and doesn't weigh much. Looks like if you lift it from each side, this would work.

Dang, I wish I knew this steam cleaning process sooner. I spent hours under mine heating & scraping the factory & aftermarket undercoating off of my 70' Challenger. I weighed it all when done & was over 50 lbs when done. The end results came out great though.
