Here is a Plymouth that was done back in the 50's by Barris, they are not common at all. mostly Mercs and Fords

They do a lot of work on those Mercury's to make them look like the Hudson looked from the factory. A Hudson is in the Mopar family, sort of. Hudson turned into Nash, Nash turned into Rambler, Rambler turned into AMC and AMC got bought up by Chrysler, I think.....  Gene

Looks like a real nice Hudson with some 1951 Hudson tail lights. You sure that thing is a 53? A 53 had wrap around tail lights near the bumper. Could be a custom sled?
