I have two 3/4 ton pickups, both 4x4, and was hoping I could swap the rims on them. Ones a 2000 V10 and the others a 1980 W200. The '80 has nearly new BF Goodrich all terrains and Cragar soft 8 rims, but I hardly ever drive it. The V10 has stock rims and worn tires, so I was hoping I could just swap rims and tires til I decide to buy new tires. Also hoping someone could tell me if it will work before I go to the effort of jacking the trucks up and wasting half a day to realize one or the other wont fit.

Yep. They bolt rite on. They'll stick out a little further bit still work. Are the tire sizes close? We run 285/76s on my wife 01 but its only a 1500 so doesn't sit as high as yours. Also the 2000 wheels will fit the 80. My 76 had 94-01 wheels on it. they would rub some at full lock due to offset/backspacing but that's only issue

Excellent! The tires are the exact same size on both trucks, I was hoping the wheels would swap with no problems.

Well the cragars off of the '80 fit the 2000, but the aluminum wheels off the 2000 hit the tie rod ends of the 80. Does anyone know if steel wheels off a 94-01 3/4 ton will work instead of the aluminum ones? I have a lead on some steel wheels off of a '99.

The later trucks run wheels with more than 1" more positive offset, it's a hassle to put them on older trucks.

My Bad. The newer wheels fit 2wds for sure. I apologize. You can run a spacer.
My 76 was a D200 with steel 94-01 rims. The steel and aluminum will basically be the same dimensions
