i'm having an issue where after the car has warmed up well and been driven a bit, the idle, which is normally steady around 900, drops to 650-700 or so. the engine will reach operating temp pretty quick and idles ok there, it seems to come after driving around for a bit.

now i know i am having issues with gas percolating that i haven't got around to solving yet, could this be a symptom of that?

Perculating fuel has air bubbles in it. Engines are made to run on feul, not air bubbles.. Id say your heat soak is the cause of your troubles...

I am truckless..

that does make sense...

540 hemi, stage V intake, 2 edelbrock 650 carbs, 3/8" line from the tank to a carter mechanical pump designed to do 5.5 psi for these carbs, 5/16" line from the pump to a filter to the carbs. A/F around 13:1 at idle.
