I cant find for the life of me the part# for the fel pro gasket I used to use on indy sr max wedge intake ports.

Heads fully ported by jeff at modern a year ago and now I finally have time to put the heads, intake, etc. on and smell some burnt rubber if I can source up on some intake gaskets LOL

To be honest I haven't used real intake gaskets for a long time. I put a thin coat of grey gasket maker on the heads and put the intake on. It works really well.

I thank you all for the comments , another question is for port matching the gaskets ,, spray adhesive gasket to head then maybe then cut out the undersize gasket portion with razor blade , so the gasket air flow restriction is removed??????????

I would like to hear ?

Yes that is the way to do it. Use the Superformance gaskets and then you'll be able to swap intakes a number of times before having to scrap the gasket off the head. I've used the same set of gaskets for 10+ intake swaps before.

I sell it as a dyno only part but it really depends on how hot the oil gets. On the dyno we keep the oil temp between 180 and 200 F. If you keep the oil in that range the clear cover should last a long time. Also depends if you're pulling a lot of vacuum or not. Hot oil and a lot of pan vacuum could cause a problem.
