I was there.. I have never seen anything like that at a race track with cars going low 4's in the 1/8th.. I almost got run over at least 5 times with the golf carts flying around.. But it was fun!!!!! Congrats to all the winners..

I believe Cecil really caters to them alot as thats where Cecil makes there bread and butter money the last few years. I actually consider Cecil my home track as I like to race there since my brother only lives a few miles from there. And since I drive to the track its a close place to tow my car if I break. But I dont go to that race as I prefer the NSS racing much better but thats because I love the 60's SS cars. Most of them use power adders and are very fast. My buddy races a Duster in the 10.0 class as its a mid 10 car NA and high 9's with a 100 shot. Ron

Noticed two things watching the Nats that have me a little confused. One, why are there so many people allowed up at the starting line? Is this not dangerous?
Two, why do all the door cars pass the lights during the burn outs? Any place else I have raced, unless its a blown alcohol door car, your DQ'd if you break the beams...
We have never seen anything like that. It was truly frustrating.

First year I missed being set up there. I snuck my GTX for a time trial last year, Thursday night. Slowest thing at the track , I think. Greatest race in the states, if your car fit's into a class. Unreal what these guys are doing with small tires. I love it. Defbob was there with ROBR all weekend. MY slowness..Click the pic for video. I tried racing the Zamboni, but he had 3 kits of NOS !!!

I was there Saturday and Sunday. Some great racing. I had a blast
