The C body and truck axles wont work in the 62/64 rearends . You would need to cut your ends off and weld on the 65 and newer ends. Theres a difference in the bearings.. Dr Diff is your go to guy in this case..

I put a 65 B-body Plymouth rear in my 63 and it fits and works great. I would either find a 65-70 rear or let Dr Diff set you up. Ron

If you're looking for the equivalent flanged axle length to fit the '62-'63 B-body housing it would depend on whether or not the center section is original and whether it has Sure-Grip or not (prior to '64 axle lengths changed with Sure-Grip or not).
To replace the tapered axle with a flange axle in a Sure-Grip rear end you'd need an axle length of around 25 7/8" which is well within the range that can be attained using a shortened/resplined factory axle.
