That looks like the CASTING number. That casting number is the early part of the 60's and would be found on a box probably up to 72 ???

What is the box out of ? Other than an obscure C body box all mopar rear wheel drive passenger car boxes have the same mounting bolt pattern from sometime in the early 60's all the way up to the last of the M body cop cars. The biggest change, I can think of, is the size of the output shaft and the pitman arm used, that change happened for the 73 model year.

It will bolt into your e body but you will need a pitman arm for a 70 or 71 cuda I ASSuME...

I don't know if E bodies changed like A bodies , but when I put a 73 up box in a 72 duster I had to change the center link and the idler arm to 73 up pieces because the stud on the new pitman arm pointed 180 from the 72 arm.

Also how USED is it??? It may not be any better than the box you are replacing ...

Thanks John,

I am looking to switch from manuual to power steering, so If it needs to be rebuilt, that is ok..it is a really good price even just for a core.

I have a new fast ratio pitman arm and ldler arm for my manual box that will fit the small sector power box.

Jason
