I bought this small 2" or so shaft from Mancini to make up the difference for the longer shaft needed for manual steering boxes. I believe it was about $115. Ron

I extended the shaft, redrilled the holes for the plAstic pins and put new pins in. Works fine.

The K-member I just bought came with a manual box and the inner part of the steering column still attached. Will I be able to just remove the inner shaft from my existing steering column and slide in the one that's still attached?

Yes. See if the shaft has been collapsed. If it has, extended where it should be and put a couple nylon pins in it.

The inner part of the collapsible tube has been pulled out. The outer half stayed with the car I assume.

Not sure if Chrysler has it anymore, it was 4037651, but about 2 bills last time I checked.

Yep, that was still attached to the steering box when I bought it. I was hoping it would slide right up into the upper half of my PS column.
