Hey, Mike'y. I used to drive by Capital Rubber on 19th Street, every day on my way home, when i was working full time, in mid town Sacramento. Dunno, give them a try.

I don't know how fuel resistant the rubber is, but in the printing world (offset printing) the press operators use a "press blanket" to cover the press rollers and absorb the pounding from production. After a certain number of impressions are run, they are replaced and not re-used. I have several blankets from the printing company that I worked at, but I have not figured out what I am going to do with them yet. If I knew how big a piece you needed, I could cut one up and mail it to you.

gas caps. To make my own rubber sealing rings. I can find rubber sheeting all day long W/fiber reinforcement. Do not want fiber threads in the rubber sheeting! Not sure of the thickness, but you all know what I'm talking about. Thanks
Find an industrial type supply house for plumbing materials. They sell rubber in sheets / rolls as gasket material between large pipe flanges. Might be able to get what you need there.

Wow! Thank you. A hunk that would fit in a standard "Office size" envelope (4 1/8 X 9 1/2) would do very nicely. I'm thinking a single stamp would get to me OK. I can PM my address if OK with you (wish I could send you some bucks somehow for your trouble).
