I am a firm believer in frequent oil/filter changes despite the advent of synthetics & the extended oil change intervals that came along with them. I would change it & run it for several minute to coat everything with fresh uncontaminated oil.

with only 300 miles on it i don't see the point in doing it before storage. i would do it in the spring .

I start mine in the winter every month and let her
get good and warm. Every spring I change it. I would
think given condensation etc, the spring time change
is much more critical.

I wouldn't even change it for Spring. If you do, save what you drain for me.

If not too late, take it for a good long cruise. Get it to operating temp and keep it there for a while to cook off the moisture and then park it.
