Hang in there Ted. Mike started letting his daughter drive his 64 a couple years ago. Disconected the secondaries, and ran it that way until he felt she could handle the car. She makes more passes in the car than him now. I think he has more fun watching her go rounds, and having a good time.

Ted, sorry to hear this But I read a lot of good stuff in this thread about how guys have moved on, and learned a lot. It also helped me see back to my experiences as a "crew chief" for a buddys car. It was a riot! What ever the outcome, I know you will find a VERY fun way to enjoy the sport!

Boy I wish you were closer so I could lend you a hand getting her back together. Just don't push yourself at this time as we don't want to hear about any health set-backs.

Ted, Give it some time ; the human body is a marvelous rejeuvenating machine that likes to heal itself. Maybe have another MRI in a few months to see if things have improved. It's far from game over as has been said above ; lots of things to do and people to meet enjoying your favorite hobby. A coworker of mine passed away this week from cancer....Mike was 53 yrs old and 2 years away from retirement. That's "game over"....Rip Mike Take it easy for awhile and let yourself heal up Ron
