On the front side of the engine nothing,I will have to pull it away from the wall to check the backside.

I looked at my hemi tonight , NOTHING on the ID pad , the only ID is the sticker with bar code on the bellhousing flange next to the do not bore over 4.340 sticker .

Brian if that is not an Arrow engine then it's Cummins and was built during the time they were WORSE than the junk I bought in '05 ...

Its not an Arrow engine,confirmed by them
Weird thing is the guy I got it from sold two others he was sure were cummins motors and I guess they are running problem free.

I know my luck so it will be dropped off at my machinest to be gone through.

My 472 was purchased from Summit in June 2001.
the pad is stamped with:
472
H1699
242
I have no idea who made it.

Brian easy to check a couple of things , pull the intkae and a valve cover. grab a spring on a closed valve , if you can move the spring around then that will tell you the needs need to be gone thru and look in the valley for any debris.
