I suppose that if it were over charged, or very hot and humid, it would take a long time before it cycled off??? Is the compressor engaged, and blowing cold air? Scott B. "I'm a self-made man... It really doesn't bother me it doesn't, as long as it's not a problem. I actually undercharged it a bit on purpose as my gauges are old and I don't entirely trust them. T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,072 Niles , Ohio	Bill it will run a lot when hot and humid.there is a sensor built in that shuts the A/C off when the evap gets around 32 degrees so it dosent freeze.That and the hi pressure switch will shut it off if it gets too high.Not uncommon for it to run a lot with high temps.Rocky Chrysler Firepower
