Pacnorthcuda Too Many Posts Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 21,823 Kirkland, Washington	Tide laundry detergent and dawn dishwasher detergent have both been used with success. Flush system with water, fill with water and detergent and run engine till hot. Drain flush, repeat if necessary.

Have used it many times to clean up after an NTC Cummins oil cooler failure. Drain the cooling system and fill it up with Cascade and water. Run it up to temp and let it circulate for 5-10 minutes. Dump it and repeat. Dump it again and flush with clean water. Should be squeaky clean after. Nasty black diesel engine oil is likely harder to get out than ATF and the cooling system is a 1/3 the size so you could try the fresh water flush after the first dose and check for residue and then repeat if necessary. I think we used to dissolve 1 box of Cascade to a 5 gal pail of water or as much as would dissolve. Kevin
