Eliminate it.You can do the Madd conversion in the archives or for quick I just use a screw and nut and put the 2 wires together and tape them up.Its common for the amp gauge to go bad.Mines been bypassed for probally 20 years.I run a volt meter.Problem solved.Rocky

What Rock said: pull a batt cable then put both of the large ammeter wires on one of the two ammeter studs. (Dont matter which one). If there's more than 2 wires put all of em on the same stud

Just hope that after market amp gauge dosen go up in smoke.Dont ask how I know.Install a volt gauge.Simple easy and no danger like amp gauges.Just remember old Mopars draw a ton of current thru that amp gauge.Rocky
