Whats the best plug & what gap for a slightly warmed over 440 in a 69 B body auto with an MSD 6A always ran Autolite 86 is there something better.

Almost anything would be better since autolite moved the production of the standard plugs to Asia. If you want to stick with autolites buy the AR race plugs , at least mexico is within the shores

I run copper Champions on aluminum headed small block gapped to 55. I'm pretty sure MSD recommends 55 too.

OT, Might vary the plug gap (lower/higher) & NAPA sells an Echlin rotor with a .060" longer blade #MO3000 for $8 & change out the door & might check rotor phasing
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

I run NGKs in mine but I am also running the RB, MSD 6AL, & Edelbrock Heads. Before the head swap I was running the factory Champion plugs. I still have like 16 in a styrofoam package from the 70s
