That's what I was thinking go from a 1 5/8 off the flange and step them up to 1 7/8 and then maybe run a flowmaster pulse-tech 4-2-1.
I may bite the bullet and buy a set of B body TTI's for my Rocky knowing I'm gonna have to cut and re-route a few tubes to fit the chassis. If my motor sat about 1" lower they would probably fit perfectly.
The Hedman 79030's would fit my chassis easily and have the flow advantage of a lot fewer bends than the A/B/E body headers I'm running now. I did weld a Schoenfeld 3 1/2" slip on collector on for now which I think is helping the top end.

maddog.com? No website Maddogs.com = Resturaunt I couldn't find any Hedman step headers for Dodges....lots of them for Chevies though. I could almost section/shorten a set of Shoenfeld dirt track headers and make them work by whacking about 2 1/2" between the flanges and the first 90 degree turn
