73-Dart-sport OP member 7 Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 156 Ohio, U.S.	Thanks guys for the help on the transmission fluid pan question. Got it tapped with new threads and good to go. Then my son John drove to a new best with 1.325 60 ft, 6.149 at the 1/8th and a 9.746 at 135.21 mph. We keep working it down. Not sure how much more we can get out of a 451 c.i. motor. Race day starts tomorrow!

It starts to get expensive and less reliable when you go much faster... This car is a mild combination but has matched parts that work well together. I believe the car is about 2850 without driver. Prosport may tell us exactly. Temperature was about 59%, with very little wind and TAG weather predictor said a DA of about 1550. Air was good. Unfortunately on Saturday night John went -.011 red in the first round. Back to the drawing board.
