Darryl's-Demon Darryl loaded up his 69 W-2 408 Dart and left Phoenix 2 weeks ago on a 1 month vacation. He stopped in Tulsa to visit my brothers, but skipped racing at the midnites. He then headed to Northern Michigan, so he could play with the Dart in his old high School stomping grounds. He's had good results at an 1/8 mile track up there, 1.51 60ft 7.01-98.5. Then some low 11's the next weekend at a track he hasn't raced in 31 years, but the 10 second pass he so covets is still just out of reach!
The Belvedere The new transmission is installed, but not happy...drive is MIA! Dad says bring it to Oklahoma as is. He air checked it, so he thinks the problem is in the valve body. Few other loose ends to tie up but I'm loading everything to get out of here!
I've hauled an A body and an E body on this trailer, I've hauled an A body and a B body on this trailer. Now 2 B bodies, and I'm just about out of trailer!!

Cool... looks like you got a good 3' to play with on the trailer... looks like the truck is squatted a bit.. might want to check the tongue weight.. might want to back them both up a bit... good luck on your trip.. see you there I just pulled the heads off the Rampage to plug the oil supply to the top end... I changed my mind and went with push rod oiling... but they are back on... I just have to put the rockers and intake back on

So exciting. Billy, I love reading your updates. Have a safe trip to, during, and after the trip.
Mr. P, so sorry you couldn't get the Rampage going in time, and so sorry to see DJ's Duster won't make it again. To all those that gave it a shot and couldn't pull it off, please try again next year. To all thos that are going---good luck!!
Outcast Dodge guy.

No air in the airbags yet, Mike!
Still have about 1500 lbs. of tools, spares, and provisions to load though.
The Truck They stopped working on the Truck to concentrate on the Gremlin, because the headers won't be back from the coaters until Wednesday, and Boone flat refused to put them on and run them raw. When I called this morning they were trying to re-install the glass in the truck with new rubber...by themselves! I don't have a family doctor on call, but you absolutely must have a Glass Guy with classic car experience in your phone... hope they don't break the windshield!
My poor homely 1 car carport looks like a bomb went off in it right now...Black Cat still on guard duty...

I just got done swapping on my W-2 heads on the Rampage so as soon as the get the trailer out from in front of the shop I'm gonna test these heads/intake to see if the oil problem is gone

My dad and I are going to be watching at least in Indy, we may road trip with the cars over to St. Louis and watch that day as well. I don't think we'll be in my Fury though, probably my 2012 Charger.

Darryl has already arrived in BG. The Satellite and Belvedere are loaded up, and ready to leave OK, with 2 new tires on the truck and trailer each. Dale has test drove the Gremlin on the street with the new 4 inche exhaust, and bullets...we could hear him 2 miles away. Broke in the cam on the Truck...getting close!!
