Here is a shot of the truck on it's way to the shop to have headers built.

Jay, I'll send you a PM, sounds like stuff I can probably use, the tranny in the Satellite may be a little "soft"!
Dale's Gremlin has headers now, as pictured below, before the trip to the coaters.

Another look. Will have caps built, and has 3" exhaust tucked up underneath.

Dale's Gremlin headers are back from getting coated. He still hasn't figured out what he's gonna do about lexan side windows that don't open, and a 5 gallon fuel cell however...
The Satellite got an MP Chrome box ignition in place of the generic parts store version, and is currently at Arizona Differential Specialists getting 3.55's in the 489 case.

That's crazy looking. lol I would run on the A1000 all the time and keep the mech as the backup. Plenty of guys run the A1000 w/o a controller and have had no problemos. (me included)
2500miles on my prostreet truck with that pump last summer alone. No controller on it. The key is in the fuel system design!

Easy on the Bro's Billy ! I like 276 gear. Works good in my 65 monaco at 4700 lbs
Got the Satellite switched over to 3.55s... Pulled it out on the street, hammered it, 5200, 2nd 5600, 3rd to about 5000 and let off, this is much better than the 2.76s! Love the way it drives on the surface streets to get parts, and to work.
Pulled out on I-17 to go home... What-the-heck? 3 grand to keep up with the traffic? What was I thinking?
New rotors and pads on the 93 1 ton, now Rachael won't think I'm trying to kill us when I drive down a mountain with two B-Bodies in tow! I should've done that 2 years ago.

Nice coating job on the headers.
Billy I love that coating on the headers! Who did it and what did it cost if you don't mind me asking? Looks like chrome, does it stay that way after running? Thanks again for letting me share this DW adventure with you and your brothers. Don

Wow... It's September already??
The Gremlin Dale ran into a major problem trying to put a set of my old ductile iron Isky rockers on his Indy SR heads. The stands are too wide to give the Isky bodies room to set over the valve tip, not to mention the fact that someone had ran these without hardened shims, and the separator springs had dug into them pretty bad. In a last ditch effort to save them, he grabbed an extra SR head and went to Gene Carter's place. Gene is a Tulsa legend, still racing an 8 second 59 'Vette well into his 80's, and still able to work circles around a shop full of younger machinists. 5 hours later he told Dale to come get the stuff. When Dale arrived, he found that Gene had machined down all 16 rockers, and his 8 spares, as well as building spacers to separate the rockers. "Ever heard of Billy Ray's Catfish and BBQ, Dale?" Gene asked. Dale affirmed that he had. "Call them up and tell 'em to send ole' Gene a 2lb catfish dinner! Now get out of here and get that car done!" They fired it yesterday, and a test drive is scheduled for later today, but it's still got a long ways to go to be ready.
The Satellite New windshield installed finally, oil changed, full 15 lb. bottle of nitrous on board, Chrome box added. I'll decide in OK whether to swap the 255/60 drag radials on, or put them on a set of police wheels to bring along. Other than that and a fresh set of plugs, she's ready to haul 800lbs and finish 33rd in Daily Driver!!
