mopowers OP master M Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,010 Sac, CA	What the correct hardware configuration for the rear shock plate? Do they use a washer or lock washer? Or is it just a nut against the plate? Are they flanged nuts? I'm talking about the non-isolator type on an 8 3/4 rearend.

As of about two years ago, they were still available from dealer parts counters (washer outer rear shock bushing, 1319554; washer inner rear shock bushing, 1319555). These are bare steel, same as the U bolts, nuts, spring plate, and spring hangers. If you don't see two dolphins, you need a vacation.
