My steering link is rubbing on my oil pan in my 1962. Anyone know a good fix. Could I file the top off the steering link flat?

You might post a pic of the area you would want to file but it might be better to ding/scallop the pan & deal with it that way

There's an oil pan that takes care of this problem. From the C body I believe.

Here's a pic of a '62 Dart with a Max Wedge pan that is longer than a normal BB pan.

Check to be sure somebody hasn't installed the drag link backwards.

My 62 Savoy wagon, also Max Wedge pan.At least 1 1/2"" to drain plug and almost 2" below pan.I think the answer in the above post may be your problem.
