I'm in the process of purchasing a 1965 D100 pickup with a 318 poly and a 4 speed. I would like to convert it over to electronic ignition but am unsure of what distributor to use. Will one from a la 318 fit? Can I just take the guts out of a small block distributor and swap them into the poly distributor? Will probably use an MSD 6al since I have one on the shelf. Any insight anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Randy

Any 318 LA distributor or kit will drop in.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.
