I happened to see it when I was out at Veney's Monday dropping of a gasket order.
Wish I would have known you were getting it, we could have met out there.

Very few people have a shot at getting one of them, good for you I'm sure you'll be pleased with it. Hope you like the valve cover gaskets

Let's see your 2WD

Why the switch to a Veney motor? Is it better than a BAE? And what is a pinched chamber Veney head (don't know if yours is but it popped up when I googled Veney HEMI)

It is better in the pulling world. The brad heads need to be run lean to make good power. The veneys tend to be able to be run a little richer and still make good power. In the pulling sport the motors are wide open for 10-15 seconds with the biggest load at the end. With that much load and heat if you don't have a little extra fuel BANG! I learned the hard way. The pinch or bathtub heads are something new. I was told there are only 7 motors out with that style heads at this time. I run against 2 of them. The head is the same as the regular heads but side of the chamber are filled in.There is 2 versions 2.6 and 2.5. Most of the veney heads are called by the intake valve size. As for hauling away the old junk. It needs to find a new home but I don't think I am ready to give it away just yet.
