It's not a "rubber" line in NHRA's eyes because it requires no hose clamps. Go stay in a holiday inn.
I have run similar stuff from front to rear and ALWAYS passed tech... why??? Because it's an approved line mr. know it all.
Grab a rule book and read it for once before you step on ground you know nothing about! There's a list of approved non- steel braided hoses and this one was on it last I checked, along with Jegs style of this hose as well.
Let me help you... Page 89 http://www.nhra.com/userfiles/file/NHRAAcceptedProducts.pdf

Mr. YukYuk....it's legal....most braided stainless is rubber too
It's legal because it has braided reinforcement and because NHRA says so....

The reason summit says It's not recommended as fuel line is that they had too many people complain that their garage smells like fuel with that line....for almost the same price you can get braided Aeroquip stainless teflon line that will last forever. Check out www.aeroquip.cc. -8 is $3.50 ft in bulk....$4.00 ft in exact lengths. It won't smell up your garage either.

I may get flamed for it, but I wouldn't use it. I ordered a roll last year for plumbing my fuel system. Said it was NHRA approved, and at the time it was supposed to be "safe for fuel use"...Jegs version was not however, hence why I ordered the summit stuff. Fast forward a couple months later and there was a post on the bullet about it saying not for fuel use...I didn't want to take any chances, and had to argue with summit to get it returned since according to them the warning was always there (when it wasn't or I sure as hell would not have bought it). I have read that the Jegs not for fuel use line leaks like crazy, and if the summit stuff is following suit with not being good for fuel, I wouldn't chance it and have to spend the money twice. I ended up using Fragola push lok hose, and haven't had a problem with any of it Just my

The NHEA Accepted Woven or Woven-pushlock Lines list on NHRAracer.com has been updated effective 3/3/2013 and the Summit Racing Twist Tite is on it now. But as for me I would spend the extra money to get the teflon hose that does not stink up my attached garage, got to keep the women happy.
