well your techs must know more..or less than ours, I was once given krap beacause I had about 10" of line between the fuel line and carb. Braided is always ok here.

I cut some 12 year old Aeroquip Pushlock hose open to shorten it and it looks perfect inside like the day it was installed. It has had rave gas and E85 run through it fwiw. It's lighter too...

I may get flamed for it, but I wouldn't use it.

I ordered a roll last year for plumbing my fuel system. Said it was NHRA approved, and at the time it was supposed to be "safe for fuel use"...Jegs version was not however, hence why I ordered the summit stuff.

Fast forward a couple months later and there was a post on the bullet about it saying not for fuel use...I didn't want to take any chances, and had to argue with summit to get it returned since according to them the warning was always there (when it wasn't or I sure as hell would not have bought it). I have read that the Jegs not for fuel use line leaks like crazy, and if the summit stuff is following suit with not being good for fuel, I wouldn't chance it and have to spend the money twice.

I ended up using Fragola push lok hose, and haven't had a problem with any of it

Just my

I am in the process of re-doing my fuel system. I bought some of the Parker Fragola 8600, and some of the Summit Twist Tight. The Summit fittings are nice, but the hose feels pretty crappy next to the Parker. The Parker stuff has a nice sturdy feel, where the Summit feels a little like heater hose.

I am only running it from sump to pump, then from reg to carb. Running stainless hardline to the front. Just personal preference.

The NHEA Accepted Woven or Woven-pushlock Lines list on NHRAracer.com has been updated effective 3/3/2013 and the Summit Racing Twist Tite is on it now. But as for me I would spend the extra money to get the teflon hose that does not stink up my attached garage, got to keep the women happy.
