It is supose to be a factory piece and has CHRY2836150 stamped on it like a production piece. It is sup[pose to be for a big block and it is aluminum? Is this for B or RB engines? Is this a early intake? Some type of industrial or truck intake? (not sure why they would use aluminum?) It sure looks like a semi high rise performance part to me. Is it a good piece or just scrap aluminum? I check my "white books" and didn't come up with anything.

As posted above, that's an Edelbock CH4B that someone has ground all aftermarket ID markings off it, only leaving the Hustle Stuff part #. It flows more and the ports are larger than stock. The goal is for 'Stealth', make it to appear and pass for a stock intake. The most tell tale sign that gives it away is the coil is not in the OEM location. The CH4B is the perfect intake for a day two resto.

NOTHING more than a lite-weight alum stocker intake. I would put that on eBay WITH that part #. Maybe someone is searching for that specific part. I have a COUPLE of "part # searches" going on eBay every day.
BS Good in between manifold. Much better than stock or the Performer intakes. CH4B (RB) and DP4B (B) engines are the RB/BB version of the LD small block series.

The guy is asking $200.00, which is a little high but I wasn't sure what it was either.
Thanks guys.
I guess I'll stick with my Performer RPMs.
I also saw a Mopar dual plane intake on eBay that looked identical to my Performer RPM intakes. Are these a Mopar knock off, or did Edelbrock make them and stamp the Mopar name on it? I was going to buy it, however it seems the Performer RPMs are hard to beat for the money ($200.00 shipped on eBay). I liked the fact that It said Mopar instead of Edelbrock though, but didn't want a lesser intake because of it.

Eddy CH4B . The coil location gives it away.
The CH4B and DP4B have been out of production for many eons. If you are reffing to the ones on eBay in question. His or the one in question is definitely either a CH or DP4B. In the picture it looks to be the narrower DP4B model for the BB, not the RB engines.

The CH4B and DP4B ...will indeed run-circles around the Performer and Perf-rpm ... as it goes down-in-flames If what you say is true ... then why did Eddie do all that new R&D in the Performer ...and not just copy the old design ? Back in the day ? .... I used to pick up stuff AT the Hustle-Stuff and then the D C warehouse ! What do I know about the DC and MP product? ... I used to be a vendor that sold parts to Mopar. Now if you show me a published test by a reliable source that shows that my statement is in-error ...I will issue you an apology.

HORSEfeathers !! .... there is NO WAY that this intake is near the Perf piece of the Performer intake.
I hope you are better at HORSES than IDing intake manifolds !
I think you need to look again my friend. This manifold was compared in Hot Rod manifold to several others. It stood toe to toe to the Edelbrock Performer. The Performer RPM outperformed it a wee bit on the upper end but the CH4B numbers were very comparable, especially at low and mid RPM levels. This manifold is usually found cheaper around swap meets and such and works well at idle and off idle acceleration. It wouldnt be my final pick on a mostly week end drag car but the Performer isnt any better.

I am not familiar with the specifics of these tests .... although I have heard that they have been done. From the rumblings I heard ... the Holley SD shined ...correct?
BUTTTTT .... I would STILL like to see those tests that show the CH4B running "circles" around the Performer 440.
And my friend ...I also ask you ...why would Eddie come out with a product that was UNequal to a product that they came out with YEARS ago ?

I do not still have time slips from 35 years ago. This is all coming from experience not book reading. The Performer (not Performer RPM which is later issue & a better manifold) was available at the same time as the CH and DP series intakes as an upgrade. Much like the LD series was available at the same time as an upgrade from the small block Performer. Or as in the now days the Std. Performer (which is still produced) to the RPM. Do what you want. PS: they worked a lot better on the dirt tracks too. But who cares those days are long gone. This is all coming from experience not book reading. AS for the horses we have many championships, Association ROM's, high points, and state awards there, so they have been good to us.

You are more than likely looking at a dual plane M1 with the Mopar logo. Not the same manifold. M1 not made by Edelbrock either as far as I was told at Edelbrock unless the vender has changed.
Yes its a RPM with the Mopar logo. The MP heads are RPMs with a straight plug too. Eddy is also casting the new Hemi heads all though they only sell them through MP.
