been working on cleaning up some wiring and changing the wiring on Ricks daytona from a lenco to a glide plus adding the wiring for bracket racing. my ribs are killing me from leaning over the bars. pics aren't that great but i was more focused on doing the job.

laying stuff out to get started

this is the front after i rewired it from the inside out, added weather-pack connectors for the coil, fan, water pump and headlights in the nose

delay box and shifter. there's a lot going on here between the box, trans brake solenoid, electric shifter and neutral safety. used a two pin for the TB solenoid and a six for everything else. there's a relay under the shifter to control the shift solenoid. with the connectors you can pull the shifter and box assembly out in a couple minutes.

i cleaned up some of the battery and line lock wiring, there was a real carbuncle there. it's not the best but a lot better than it was.

this is the last big area i have to clean up. all the wiring that was in it was functional but how they arrived there was a little confusing. the fuel pump had a relay running two other relays.

well that's it for now i'm tired

Lookin good........... I hear ya about the ribs AND the back, shoulders, elbows etc. Fun stuff indeed but I`d bet you`re WAY better than me which translates into less of those pains for less time............

What water pump is on that thing. I'm having no luck with my contraption of a cooling system on my Avenger and need to totally rethink it and that setup has me thinking.

it's almost done, again sorry for the bad pics

taking out old wiring

after

camera really didn't want to shoot through the windshield. the fiberglass dash that's sitting on the roof covers most all of this anyhow

i could only make the panel so clean without gutting the entire car and that wasn't desired or really necessary

Rick had a local TS racer that does fabrication make up the shifter mount and do some other changes for the trans swap

playing with my new plasma cutter i made up a hook to hang the wheel on

just some other pics of the car
