Heck my old 87 buick gn 6 cyl stock would of put a beating on many big block stock muscle cars. Many people just love to talk up what ever brand cars they like. Thers no this brand is faster than another just what brand do you like. And for some reason the mopar fans seem to really hate the the fact that a gm or ford part may end up on a mopar. thats not me though. Last edited by challengermike; 02/02/13 11:01 PM.

Only been to the track once since I built my motor and shattered my driveshaft that day, didn't get a full run in. I don't have to take the pole do I? And I don't even wanna think about an apple...

It does however have an alternator off a Bobcat on it. But then my car isn't all that fast. Look at Penske and Keselowski, championship team dumps their brand for a better deal. If you compromise your racing equipment to be loyal to your brand, you are giving up advantage to your opponents. Bob Glidden switched brands without hesitation when rules changes made one brand favorable. In 1982 I sold my '68 Satellite and bought a turn-key Chevy II, it was a better race car than mine, went from winning 1 race in '81 with the Plymouth to winning 13 in '82. I don't race much anymore, but if I had a good offer on my Duster and I knew of a good tube chassis car such as a Cavalier with a SBC that I could get, I would go for it.
