I found a site that sells the headers

Racing inovation and supply, Google it
Then on left click on 440 mopar

189.99

They worked on my B body pritty good.
Not shure if they will work on other stuff

As for carb work I can tell ya what I did and give numbers but I will only lead the way LOL
I don't want to be responsible for anything.

I know on the dyno I had to change metering blocks to get the brake specifics and O2 rite

thank you for building this!you must have done this in a secret location away from the moparts gestapo.at the minemum for boost you need pistons from some sort of metal that came from a meteor, aftermarket block, the newest of heads that JUST got developed and then sent to some wichdoctor for porting ect,ect and if all this fails they would tell you to turbo a stock LS1

What is the hardest part of building one of these?
What are you using for a fuel system?
What is the fuel delivery problem causing it to do?

Ya it'd be a good race for sure... You are over geared, I'm under geared, similar cams, similar cubic inch, you are running a lot more boost then I am, but I have a bigger turbo.

Maybe this summer we can hook up for some moparts turbo grudge racing!

Budget beater vs. budget ugly.

haven't done a turbo but I'll try and answer
1. For me it would be the fab/welding up of exhaust
2. Any decent pump would work, You'd have to figure how much fuel you're going to need and go from there.
3. I'm guessing he's going lean or losing pressure at the big end.

As far as my fuel system.
I have the stock tank witch I removed the sending unit and installed a 5/8" pickup next to the factory pickup.

My pump is a BG 220, yes I know its to small.
I have 9/16 line from pickup to pump, from pump to regulator up at the engine.
I return from the pump back threw the stock pickup in the tank with 3/8 line.

My regulator is the big Holley one, that I boost referenced.
The 9/16 goes into the regulator then I have I think -8 or -6 lines out of regulator to carb.

I have a BG 400 pump I'm gonna put on it and ill prolly get a better regulator.

What does it do you ask? Well it pritty much dies then I peddal it till the pump catches up while the boost is down and head back on the return road.

And yes I would love a little grudge match !!!!!
Sounds like a blast... R should I say boost LOL

I have 3.23 for it so once I get it out I'm gonna swap em.

I think if you don't have access to a bender you could buy bends or a kit of bends and weld pice by pice as you fit it all together.

Would probably flow better than what I bent up LOL

Rock do you have any pictures of the set-up? drivers side, pass side, undercarriage.... I like the idea of a single set-up vs. Twins. The hugger style headers look like they would work well.

Did you see the post on whare I found the headers?
They fit ok on a B body if your fussy but if your on a budget then they fit perfect LOL

Mr. Chip, Resize the pic...to max size of 640 x 480 px.

I've never been much of a "forced induction" guy, but you and Dizuster have me T H I N K I N G...

See, I have a well built 30K 360 with ported 587 heads for a 69 Dart project I'm tinkering with...

Man, my "NA" buddies would chit their britches!

As for headers, a set of shorties (flipped) will support 800 hp with no problem.

there are a bunch of things you have to do. You'll need Nitofil floats and some other things. I sent mine to Scott at SCDE.

The carb is a verry important part of making everthing work.

From when I started this project I did what I thaught was right going by posts and figures other people are running but once I put it on the dyno I found out my carb was out to lunch

So 2 areas I wouldn't skimp on carb and fuel system.

I can give my carb specs just send a message

I'm just trying to get a clear idea on what the modifications are and why they are needed.

If I have to buy or send out my carb its no longer considered budget to me.
I am capable of rebuilding most carbs but I am not familiar when it comes to playing with turbos.

My understanding is that you can make a carb to work but your part throttle driving can be hard to tune.

With a carb you will need some sort of boost retard and you will have to buy a wide band. With EFI, you have all of that, plus the ability to add other sensors later on. And tuning in much more easy.
