On your deal I would look at either Motech or Big Stuff 3 What type of intercooling are you going to use, air to air or air to water

Why to use BigStuff3 when there is FAST XFi? Motec is very expencive but one of the best

Never had a problem once. The only thing I have ever had a problem with was the external logger on the old classics but haven't used one of them in years. The few guys I know with them just ride with the laptop to log now. Paul gets me prob 4-5 units a year for customer installs and I take to him to use dyno and help get tuned in. Doing one now on Brad Marsh's ultra/true street car to get ready for Georgia.

I have a FAST XFI system with traction caontrol and Internal data logging options. I also have the FAST DASH for expanded data logging capabilities and the optional 3 axis accelerometer, 8 channel EGT module, and GPS sensor. I found the GPS sensor logging rate to be to slow for drag racing but would probably be really handy for road racing since it will plot lap times and actual road speed at any point on the road coarse and plot the actual path traveled. Both the FAST XFI and DASH have 8 aux. analog inputs and 2 speed sensor chanels to log with. You can even use the XFI to control boost. The XFI internal data logger memmory is limited and would recomend the DASH logger for long duration data logging. Also, FAST has a thumbwheel switch that would allow changing the tune very easy without the laptop.
I would recomend downloading the software from FAST and navigate your way through and see if you like it. I don't have any experience with the others but I'm sure they all have there software as a free download for you to try.

Fast, Motec, BigStuff3 will probably all meet your needs ....

It really comes down to support or your level of expertise. Iif your not comfortable in using the system, then you need a system that your tuner is comfortable with or one that will provide the exact support, as & when you need it.

Or MegaSquirt.
Scott Clark aka 'DieselGeek' knows his way well around these setups in Dragracing, EngineMasters and LandSpeedRacing.

I have to admit to being a total novice at EFI tuning...

but I am pretty impressed with MegaSquirt's (TunerStudio) ability to "learn" and correct my AFRs to my selected target numbers - just by driving it and clicking OK once in a while. You still need to set everything else, but for a novice it's a pretty sweet system.
