Posted this in Q&A, no response.
I'm swapping from an M1 to an Indy Intake on my Magnum based 408, what T-Stat housing is going to fit? One from an LA intake?
Bolt center on the Indy is 3.25".
Thanks
2001 Dodge Dakota 408 All Motor 11.27 @ 117.83 mph 2017 NM Mopar Challenge Series Champion.

I had the mr gasket one and it was fine no leaks and cheap.I bought a black csr one w the swivel so i could aim it and match the color of my motor. The csr one does have an oring.Neither leak.
And those were for small chevy's right?

Ive heard that its the chrome on the face of the mating surface that causes the leaks, not the neck itself.

They will interchange, but if you plan to run a thermostat that's where they are different. IIRC the mopar housing has a relief for the thermostat and the SBC has relief milled into the intake.

Good info Rod! I am running a t-stat, so I guess I will have to stay with the leaky stuff....My Mr. Gasket mopar one needed a ton of RTV to finally not leak
