Does anyone know if the Milodon big block road race pan will clear Tti 1 7/8 headers or any other brand of headers in a 69 B body?

i don't have that pan but am familiar with it. i built a pan that is nearly identical in dimensions and have it in a 65 b-body with 2" tti's and have plenty of clearance.

Not sure if this info is helpful, but the pan fits in my 1970 e-body with 2 inch TTi's. The scattershield is more of a concern with the pan in my case. The pan has to be installed and the engine put in sans bellhousing and clutch to clear the k-member.

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

First of al one of the best pans on the market for a street&strip bb engine I have it in a 1970 Challenger bb 4 speed car and 1 7/8 TTi headers that whas no trubbel but a bit tight at one spot on the k-member on passenger side and the idler arm just barly toutches it to but it is a smal price to pay compaird to a lot of junk pans out there

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I was looking at the Milodon 7 quart deep pan, but I am going to spend the extra money and get the Road Race Pan. I am glad it will work with TTI headers. jbc426, that is one sweet Cuda!

DarrenB, do you have any pics of the pan installed on the car. How far is the pan from the centre link? Is there enough room from the idler arm and pitman arm?

I think there is a lot of variability in aftermarket suspension pieces.

Also nubs on the LCA can act as bump stops to the turning radius. Sometimes the LCA gets worn at the stop and might increase the amount of angled.

I bet that is an aftermarket (new hemi mounts welded on) Hemi K-member in this car too.

Lot of potential for compounding errors.

Thanks, It's fun to drive. I threw some 255/ 60 15's on the back, and it's like driving the car on a snow covered road while on dry pavement. The torque and street manners are incredible on the center carb, but once the outboards kick in, it's scary!

I have the stock idler & pitman arms on it, and love this pan because of the ground clearance. I did have to slot my windage tray to allow room for the pick-up too. I'm also running Milodon's new billet pump with the stock cast iron cover. It takes less power to turn, so it's eaisier on my bronze drive gear.

I know the feeling John 275 tires are the same whit 505 Six Pack and that nasty roller cam I had the same issue ofcorse on the windage tray so i gues the pic show the same slot as on yours.
