I don't know if I have any pictures but will check, might be best to buy the pump mount from Ron's it mounts on the passenger side of engine 2 bolts to the timing cover, mount the vacuum pump on the drivers side motor plate, finding room for the alt. might be a problem. But on a door car you might be able to space them out a little more for some extra space for the alt..

There is just to much oil flying around in there with most typical Mopar oil pan set ups. There is a lot of oil in suspension in the typical Mopar engine with the pans most guys run to pull vac from there.

Does your pan have a kick out? Are you running a crank scaper?
My personal experience is the fuel plate is the best spot especially if you are pushrod oiling.
The pan has a Kick out, a screen style scraper, and it is oiled thru the push rods. On initial fire up it filled the reservoir for the vacuum pump in about 10 minutes of running and puked it out the top. Thought it would be great location. The cam and crank (even though they are perfectly round in this area) must grab more oil than I would have thought. Doug

A side kick out pan and scraper are good starts. A PROPERLY designed pan goes a long way to control windage and oil in suspension in a BB Mopar but they need to be correctly designed pieces that control the oil. Most of the stuff we see is not designed very well and leave a lot to be desired.
