The neurological staff was busy in surgery today. It looks like they basically forgot to come talk to us.(no hard feelings...these things happen) A doctor came in to see us about an hour ago. The tumor is right around the area where the spinal chord meets the brain. It has NOT spread past that area. The last I heard it was about 2cm in length. Surgery will not be Monday but should be sometime this week. It's a tricky area to opperate on since so many areas of the body are controled there. Right now the hardest part is keeping a 3 year old in bed and calm when there are a million things hooked up to him.

Theres some really good apps for phones/Ipad/kindles that can keep him busy. Nickelodeon paint/art and Wheres my water are two that I'd recommend. Focus on the best outcome not the worst. There ARE a couple areas in the spine that are questionable. ONE person should talk to the family...someone who know what's going on. So, it looks like he's going to need chemo for sure. They are trying to get him into surgery tomorrow at around noon. That's not set in stone. The steroids they have him on are making him crazy. He's not acting like my little guy. He had maybe 2 hours sleep last night. He's been screaming and crying most of the day. My best friend and his wife are here now. They got him calmed down.
