I have heard good reports on them B U T they are low compression pistons. I have got a call-out to Sealed Power doing these pistons in a higher compression ratio ... like doing the pin location .030 and .060 lower in the piston. I just have to find how many sets have to be ordered in-order to have them run like that.

This guy sells kits call him and ask what compression height his pistons are

he puts togeather 413 stroker kits too

Compression height of 2.015" will build some pretty good compression.
BUT: Weight of 1010 grams? I assume that's with pin, but still really really heavy. I think for a couple of hundred more you could get a new custom forging that weighed no more than 800 grams with pin.

I have no reason to doubt the quality of the pistons, but they are pretty high priced for what you get.

Do a search for 413 stroker with my username going back the maximum and you will get an idea for another approach. Otherwise, find out who on the board is a dealer for your favorite brand of high performance pistons and contact him to gt a price for some real pistons.

With a flat top and 2.015" compression height they are not low compression pistons.

Two things:
1. They are expensive for a cast piston with rings.
2. They weigh (assuming with the pin) 1010 grams, that's a little over 2.2 lb each. You should be able to find a lightweight forging for a couple of hundred more that should weigh no more than 800 grams with pin. There are piston dealers on this board.

Oh, one other thing: Do a search on 413 stroker and my username to find another way to go with that block. I believe I've been talking about this idea for three years.

PRETTY GOOD ? ...I would agree. But what I would like is something like the 6-pack piston is ... 2.06.

In my motorhome/towing combo .. you could open-up the chambers in the "goofy-heads" very nicely(to cut down the comp-ratio). Then this would get you the squish/quench so many people desire. Now in a HP application .... say with a closed-chambered alum head .. it would get the compression up there nicely ... GET YOU that good squish/quench .. but you would for-sure have to fly-cut the pistons for a decent cam-lift.

Pricing ? ... a little over 400$ complete ? ... that is one-half to one-third the price of the custom forged stuff.
