Keep the I.D. of the hose the same I.D. as the orifice your feeding it out or bigger BTW, what type of remote filter mount and which filter are you going to use?

When I remote a filter I always use -10.
Thats a different deal then you have with the milodon setup where the line is feeding the oil pump. A remote is moving pressurized oil through the filter. -10 is plenty big enough IMO.

I have -12 from the sump to the pump, then -10 lines from the pump to the filter.

Keep in mind that this is a small block and all I am trying to do is get rid of the factory 90 deg adaptor so I don't get my new headers oiled up.I usually use a stock Napa Gold filter.I am going to use the Moroso mount,it has a spot for a guage too.
-8 or -10 will work fine.... I went with the -8 on my 416 and on the dyno it proved to be fine... I moved the filter towards the front on the frame rail
