Sure looks like it... I checked them out and the rods are numbered to each cylinder, and are turned right on the crank side, and by looking at the valve reliefs the intake relief is the larger one. The pistons sure look like they are upside down to me.. But turning them over and installing them the rods would be wrong as far as the tangs (always to the pan rail side. and the bevel facing to the outside of the journal... I told him to wait and see what was said.
These are B1 Originals pistons, and this is my engine, a friend is assembling.
Pretty sure they are upside down.

They are in fine but I would knock off the sharp edges
before final installation

Guess Im just paranoid... Why is the exh valve relief a good .040-.060 deeper? IDK The rods were oriented correctly. and I know the larger relief is always the intake... and the pattern is E-II-EE-II-E so....
If you look close you can see the hard-blok etc...

The exhaust always needs more clearance because the piston chases the exhaust valve closed.

The 1st 3 pistons on that bank at least are installed correctly. The location of the chamfer in the big end of the rod dictates which side faces the crank cheek, the notches for the rod bearing tangs are only there to properly locate the bearing you are using.

My B1 pistons have the exhaust valve reliefs 080 deeper than the intakes.I run a 113 lobe seperation, 113 installed CL and use 1.7 rocker ratio. Just shy of .800 lift.

What cam are you running spec wise?

They look good to me. It's great that the exhaust valve relief is deeper. You should have lots of clearance for a nasty big cam

Cam is a older Ultradyne Roller, i purchased from dewayne porter awhile back.... has a .450 something lobe and I have a 1.75 rocker arms..... I forget the exact specs, but works out to be right at .800 gross lift.. Duration is 276@50 and is a 108 LSA IIRC.
I have had some brain farts with this one.. I know the rods are correctly installed etc. This crank has a large chamfer (LA Enterprise billet) with Bill Miller aluminum rods...
