I'd consult with whoever is installing the new panels to be sure you're trimming how they want it... some do it differently. For example some prefer to leave the jamb edge in place.

Myself I drill out all the welds with removing a panel. Some cut around the welds. xs29 how did you weld the new panel on or did you use panel bond?

Welded to approximate factory method... first held on with clamps and small screws during alignment process...
