Im putting together a stock stroke, KB 107 pistoned 360 that fell into my lap until I complete my r3. I will be using my "stage 3~ish Brodix heads that flow 290 at .600. Hooker super comps, all steel Abody, 4:56 geared, 4400 converter, victor manifold and custom cam specs are in the attachment because Im that lazy tonight. I have my 950 profom off my old 4" motor and wondering if it will be less than ideal. I would just buy a 750 but Id rather spend it on a dommy for the bigger motor. Can this carb get by without killing the combo?

The 950 will work good use it then just buy your dominator for your good motor when done.

Thank you guys..we'll run it. It seemed to take some response out of my stroker, so I figured with the shorter stroke maybe worse..

The Holley 950HP do not flow 950CFM at the standards used to flow test carbs I'm sure the after market 950 carbs. do flow 950 CFM

The ProForm950 has the larger venturi than the old Holley HP950. I have an old HP950, and a Quickfuel950 which is what Proform imitated . Throttle response is much better with the smaller one as it has similar venturi sizing as an older 750.
On a lower rpm engine, the large venturi is harder to get a decent fuel curve established.
