1. Yes I like it. Very consistent. 2. I was running 112 octane gas before going to alcohol and the toilet. Was running a 1050 carb and went to the 4.1" toilet. Car picked up almost 2 tenths in the heat. I will admit my carb was jetted a little fat in the heat so that will contribute a little on that et gain. I strongly suggest an egt for at least tuning the new set up even if you don't run one long term. 3. I personally do not run a throttle stop, but have talked with people who run one with a toilet and they all have said that it just will not duplicate pass for pass. I think that a terminator would be better suited for that. Call James Monroe at killer rons (812)327-1190 for any info you should need. Super helpful and easy to talk to. 4. As for cost, I pieced my set up together. I had less than a $1000 in the injection set up, pump, pills, cable, filters, and hoses. My car still retains the factory fenderwells up front which limits any room for a front mounted cell. I fabbed up a aluminum tank with a holley float bowl to control fuel level that fits under the passenger fender. This is fed by my rear mounted fuel cell. All in all, I am very happy with the set up. I record my water temp and egts every pass, and if I do my job right getting the water temp the same before staging, it will usually duplicate egt temps. Hope this helps. Beep

I have been running a Ron's Flying Toilet system since 2009. That first year I won the track points championship, so I love it. I also ran exactly on my dial-in with a zero, 6 times that year (9.210). I changed heads and cam at the same time, so I don't have any ET comparison. But I think it is about 0.2 quicker in the heat of summer, and less in cooler weather.
The Flying Toilet kit from Rons is $1600 with the vane pump. The gear pump is an upgrade. The kit comes with everything except the fuel cell and fuel lines to/from the pump. They say you should run a front mounted fuel cell, or front surge tank. There is a good list of components on the killerrons.com web site (in the article for buying a used system). I recommend the "primer plus" gasoline starting/idling system. It makes it easier to start and uses less alcohol since you can high idle on gas to the staging lanes and on the return road and pits. It also helps put heat in the motor (warm-ups).
From an ET/mph standpoint, I think the Terminator and Flying Toilet run the same. Perhaps the Terminator is more suited to throttle stop racing, I never did that. The Toilet has slotted mounting holes to fit both a 4150 manifold or a 4500 intake, and it has a 4150 top opening (air filter, etc). The Terminator fits 4500 intake manifolds and has a 4500 top opening.
The first time I did a launch, I found out the throttle response was awesome!

Have been running a toilet for years, and love it. I get everything from James Monroe www.killerrons.com , and he is great to work with. We have ran on the throttle stop quite a bit, in the one car we broght car down to idle and it repeated. On the other one I run an elect. bypass and it works awesome with stop RPM at 3K, just keep leaning out the elect bypass till it stumbles, James Monroe helped a lot with tuning that set up. No changes to the motor switching to the toilet. Please let me know if you have any questions, we running it on two different cars. I also run the one car with the primer plus system, witch saves a lot on fuel, run it on gas from pits to the water box, then switch over to alky. Please let me know if you need any assistance and I would be glad to help. Curtis

I have run them for years also. I picked up .25 over a dominator setup on my 500ci low deck.
I wouldn't run one without Monroes primer. I back it out of the trailer and in less than 5 minutes I am 170 degrees and ready to make a pass.
If it is set up right you will NOT milk the oil either.
I change my oil every 50 passes or so, Just like on gas.

I went from a pair of 759 Holleys on a tunnel ram to a pair of 4-Shooters, gas to alcohol, picked up .3 in the quarter, and a ton on the bottom end. Now I run an 8-Stack injection unit, slightly more complicated fuel system (my doing for dialing in the fuel curve) but nothing says nostalgia like a stack system.

The best place for the fuel pressure gauge is between the barrel valve and distribution block, you want to know what pressure the injectors are seeing and not what the pump is putting out.

Not sure how to do that? The barrel valve and distribution block is a one piece unit.

...would you guys buy a used set up or just get the new deal????
Use the check list of all the parts that come in the new kit (www.killerrons.com article) and verify the seller has everything, pump, pullies, crank mandrel, fuel filter, shut off cable, fuel pump mounting kit for your engine, etc. Those parts add up fast. If you can get everything for about half the new cost, and it looks in good condition, it might be worth considering. The pumps are expensive, but can be rebuilt for about half the cost.
Remember you are likely to need a different size nozzle jet, and they are $68/set of 8. A new belt too. (keep the old one as an emergency spare).
