Im going to put a 5.9 mag motor in my 67 barracuda and since im going to keep the serpintine belt set up Ive been told I need the power sreering bracket from a van or grand cherokee. Does anyone know what year of van or cherokee the bracket needs to be? Thanks, Clay

just any ram van with a magnum worked. never tried the one from a jeep, not sure how easy that would be to find.

there is a catch. I have a post on it somewhere.
the belt that the original mag used won't work, and the van one doesn't quite work unless you replace the idler pully too.

turns out the van setup uses a different a/c pulley, and it throws off the whole setup if you try to use a truck mag with a van ps pump.

so I found the 5.7 hemi idler pulley is smaller and is a direct swap out for the idler on the truck 5.9 and brings the pulley sizes in line so you can use a standard belt.

here is my post on the issue.

I'm doing the same 2001 Durango 5.9 swap in a '68 a-body.

What exactly is the issue with the Durango power steering pump with the stock serpentine belt configuration?

What does it hit or get in the way of?

Does it matter if the battery is moved to the trunk.

in a b body using the durango one puts the ps pump under the battery tray. can't ever fill it.

using the van one, it tucks it down and back in a little.

Grand Cherokee pump sits relatively high and uses a bracket and spacer

that bolts to the cylinder head. You'll probably want to use the pump

too as it's different than the trucks.
