Broadcast sheet print time. As an example;

07 78 Would be the 7th hour of the day - 78th minute. (they used 100 minute clocks)

That said.....

I may be wrong. The answer above is correct for the 1970 model year, but I checked some 1969 model year broadcast sheets I have here & some have numbers there & some do not.....

I did a quick look through my sheets...

In a copy of a GG BS decode I have, GG does list this as being a time code just as Barry explained.

It looks like Hamtramck started using the time code in March. It doesn't appear to show up on STL sheets until the first week of June.

LR 246139 (324 SPD)does not have the time but the time does show up on 259416 (416 SPD). That's as close as I can get for LR. So it looks like LR started about the same time as Hamtramck and about the same time the A12s were built but it is not an A12 specific code.

I have a C body with the code on a 507 spd BS.

So it looks like the time code was introduced about late March or April but doesn't show up on BS at all plants until June.

Good to know Doug. I have all mine filed by VIN & plant, so I'll take a closer look when I can to see if I can narrow it down any further.

Thanks! (Hamms)

I wrote this over on the A12 Registry:

Isn't row 5 the "LABELS" row? The other end (left side) of that row has the "IDLE" (for emissions compliance adjustment) and "TIRE" (driver's door with air pressure, GVWR). Would that be two of the other labels on the car? That leaves the: jack instructions, the driver's door jam with the NHTSA "MEETS FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS", the air filter cover labels, the radiator coolant label, the jack base label, the 4-speed reverse light warning (if that could be considered a government required warning or safety feature which it WAS). What else am I for sure missing? How about the window (Monroney Label) sticker? I guess we need to look at some more Broadcast sheets to see how many variations or different numbers there are for A12's. Any labels on Bee's that are not on Runner's?

Looking at an A12 rr now that has a 2 under 13 and 269 under 14.

An A12 Bee with a 2 under 13 and 132 under 14

Okay a quick look at some other model year broadcast sheets shows boxes for "EXHAUST" and the performance cars all seem to have a "02" under for what I would suspect DUAL EXHAUST PIPES????? So maybe 13 is for exhausts on the '69 Broadcast Sheet (BS)? Then there is a box labeled 'CAR HEIGHT" with a 3-digit code, maybe that's what the 269 or 132 is for???

Any other numbers besides 02, under 13 or 132, 269 and 276 under 14?

Mine has the numbers 030 under the 14 and all I can read under the 13 is a last digit of 0?

which could be another "132"?

Nothing is making any sense, found some Broadcast Sheets with either a 1 or a 2 under 13 and nothing else (so far), majority were "2"

Under 14 (ALL A12 cars) I found; 132, 269, 276, 313, 212 (or 218 can read the third digit) 461 62?, 344, 241, and some with NOTHING under 14 and some with nothing under 13 on the same sheet.

Anyone know what hours 1st & 2nd shift ran "back-in-the-day"?

I went thru a few b'cast sheets. (if it's a 4 digit time stamp)

Plant
box 13/box 14 SPD

A
1/697 329
0/794 426
2/026 426
1/690 501
0/629 605 * 06:29 = 6:17 AM earliest

B
none 211
2/350 214 * 23:50 = 11:30 PM latest (hard to read "M" code GTS) & 214 was a Friday
1/350 312
1/379 411
0/922 427
1/508 506
2/182 523 * 21:82 = 9:50 PM
1/10? 606
0/950 609
0/802 610
1/301 612

F
1/857 505

24 hours in a day - midnight = 00 hr, noon = 12 hr
100 minutes in a hour - 25 min = 1/4 hr, 50 min = 1/2 hr, 75 min = 3/4 hr

So, all these time stamps should be first & second shift (when they built cars). Any plants other than LA only run one shift?

thanx for the answers-it clears things up on what it is. the numbers on the bees sheet are 1834 which would be 18th hour 34th minute correct? i`m now noticing four digit numbers on some 70 and 71 sheets i`ve got pics of at the very bottom, would this be the same thing?

another question on the bees sheet - what are the numbers on the bottom? it says 05 AUTOMATIC 6 PAK
what is the 05 for? anyone with a 69 1/2 bee build sheet with something written on the bottom?
all the best
frank.

I dont know what the 05 means, but I also have that at the bottom of mine. From what I have read, some sheets have it, and some don't.
