bonefish master B Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 7,274 s.w.fl	i didnt notice a thing on my 10.50 et car.its the only thing i did.i put a 1050 8896 dominator on it and picked up to 10.40.but i think the 850 was way to small to begin with. Last edited by bonefish; 09/15/12 12:39 PM.

CHAPPER master C Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 3,410 Belpre,Ohio	Looking at the pic,,are you running this carb/pan set-up now?? Is it working OK? If it is working OK now, I might not take the tower off. It appears that without the choke tower, your carb is going to be the same height as the pan and hood scoop opening. The tower might be saving you from problems right now. If you like drag racing, support your local track.

topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,816 A collage of whims	Haven't run any ET tests, but the 4781 on my Duster sits like the OP's photo, has a milled choke horn, and I've had no problems. Milling the choke horn off improves CFM and feeds air into the carb more efficiently than having it shrouded by the choke tower. I wouldn't expect much ET out of it, but I'd bet the MPH would pick up a little from the improvement in mixture distribution.
