Larry, the 70 Charger pic above is my car, ..the 70 B body ralley dash frame is the same Dodge or Plymouth,...I just looked to confirm, the reverse light bezel is mounted to the plastic, and merely protrudes thru a rather larger hole in the metal frame behind it
