I'm thinking of adding the 1 inch carb spacer I bought at the beginning of the race season. My question is how much will it effect my tune, will I need to make jet changes? I run a mild 360 with a .454 lift hydraulic cam Edelbrock Preformer 318/360 and a 650 spread bore double pumper Holley. I need it ready and still consistent for Norwalk

Go up 4 squirter sizes and 10 jet sizes...

Just Kidding!

We all know that every combination is different and has different needs. A test and tune is the only way to see what the spacer does/changes your tune. If your car is currently consistent, leave it alone for Norwalk...

The answer lies in dyno and track testing with wideband o2,Way to many variables to accept an internet answer as gospel.Bill C.

Cant say but it would matter if its a 4 hole or a
open one... the 4 hole keeps the velocity up in the
carb with a small gain in plenum volume where the open
one tends to just increase plenum volume

In general:
Richer idle mixture
More PVCR
May want 2-4° more idle spark

I know I can't base it all off what someone else says, I'm just lookin to see what everyone's opinion is n go from there. The spacer is an open one. I use to run a square bore carb on the same intake with a 1 inch adapter and it seemed to have a little more topend pull. That's why I'm kickin around the idea of adding it before Norwalk
