I saw this broken casting for the starter pin on my 904 a few months ago when I removed the transmission. I did not find the missing piece. Is this OK to use? Should I try to fix it?
The flywheel is fine.
Thanks.

I would say its fine. Probably was someone torqued down the started and it wasn't properly seated in the hole.
